THE SYMBOLISM OF THE LOGO…
- The Patriarchal Seminary of Rachol dedicated to the divine care of Jesus, the Good Shepherd through holistic priestly formation oriented toward future ministerial priesthood, allows the seminarians to form themselves to be ardent proclaimers of the Gospel in the world.
- The four rays emitting from the Heart of Jesus, the Good Shepherd represents the Human, Spiritual, Intellectual and Pastoral formation acquired in the Seminary. It endows the priest to minister to the people of all faiths in Goa and in every corner of the globe.
- In the water of the ocean, the anchor crowned with the cross and the Gospel of Jesus Christ serve as a reminder to be rooted and profoundly grow in Him amidst the asperity of the earthly pilgrimage. Thereafter prepares us to experience the fulfilment of Christian Hope in the Lord in heaven.
