The ministries of Lector and Acolyte were instituted to 6 Seminarians of the 2nd Year of Theology, of the Patriarchal Seminary of Rachol on the 31st of August 2024 by Auxilary Bishop Simião Purificação Fernandes. The Rector of the Seminary welcomed the Bishop, the concelebrants and the congregation to the solemn celebrations under the theme “Devachea Utrantlean ani Vediche Seventlean, Jezuche Porgottnnar”, which was carried out under the leadership of Fr. Nelson Sequeira and Sem.Kennedy Mascarenhas. Fr. Heston Ferrão proclaimed the Gospel and the Bishop Simião broke the Word, urging all to proclaim the Word through our life and service. The Santa Cecilia choir under the leadership of the Fr. Mathew Rebello assisted prayer through their melodious voices in the choir. The celebrations ended with a few words of gratitude by Sem. Roshel Fernandes which was followed by the bishop conferring the solemn blessings.
