The seminary community celebrated the solemnity of St. Ignatius of Loyola, the patron of Seminary Church on 31st of July 2024. The main celebrant for the mass was Rev. Fr. Donato Rodrigues, the Rector of the Seminary and the homily was preached by the Spiritual Director of the seminary, Rev. Fr. Ashley Alphonso. Priests and Nuns of the Raia Deanery too participated in the Solemn feast mass. Sem. Aaron D’Souza prepared liturgy on the theme, “Bhag. Inas de Loyolache dekhin Devachea Utrache Porgottnar Ami!” which helped the congregation to reflect and pray. Under the guidance and direction of Rev. Fr. Mathew Rebello, the Santa Cecilia choir assisted the faithful with their melodious singing to participate well in the Holy Eucharist. This solemn celebration culminated with a fellowship meal.
