LECTOR AND ACOLYTE MINISTRIES
“Jesus, the master washed the feet of His twelve disciples and conveyed to us the message of service” explained the Archbishop Patriarch Filip Neri Ferrao in his sermon of the day of Institution of Lector and Acolyte ministries at the Patriarchal Seminary of Rachol. 12th Sept 2013 marked a day of great joy for the whole community of the Rachol Seminary as four of her sons, Peter Britto, John Albano, Stephan Rebello and Jakie Albuquerque from 3rd year Theology received Lector and Acolyte ministries at the hands of the Archbishop Patriarch Filip Neri Ferrao. The day’s ceremony commenced with the Eucharistic Celebration presided over by the Archbishop. St. Cicilia choir of the Seminary through their melodious singing, under the direction of Rev. Fr. Simon D’Cunha, enchanted the celebration.
