The Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola was celebrated on 31st of July 2023 which was a culmination of the nine days of novena. The preparation began with the celebration of the Solemn Vespers on the 30th of July 2023 presided by Rev. Fr. Macson Fernandes. The congregation was led by the seminarians of the Santa Cecilia Choir members in chanting the psalms and canticles. The Solemn Mass on the feast day began at 11:30 am which was presided over by the Rector of the Seminary, Rev. Fr. Dr. Donato Rodriguese. The Rector in his homily highlighted the need for all to follow and emulate the life and qualities of the saint. The melodious choir singing the hymns and the Ordinary of the Mass in Latin elevated our hearts in unison and in deep reverence to God.
