SEMINAR ON SEVEN CORPORAL WORKS OF MERCY

The Catechetical Unit of Rachol Seminary (C.U.R.S.) organized a half a day seminar, in the afternoon, for the catechists at Rachol Seminary on 14TH July 2019. The auditorium was packed to its capacity by catechists from different parishes. The programe was set into motion, invoking the presence of the Lord, by Sems. Sanford Rodrigues and Prinson Oliveira. The superior of the Rachol Seminary, Rev. Dr. Aleixo Menezes welcomed the gathering. The theme chosen for this seminar was,“SEVEN CORPORAL WORKS OF MERCY .” Three seminarians from Fourth Year Theology Course, delivered the three sessions, with deeper understanding of the same with its meaning and practical application for our lives. The Sessions were delivered by by Sem. Clarence Carneiro. Sem. Denrish D’costa and Sem. Myron Fernandes. The gathering was also kept active with live music and action songs in between the sessions by talented musicians from the seminary. The participants returned home happily, filled with new insights. Sem. Malcolm Colaco, compered for the occasion with light moments donning in the character of St. Peter while Sem. Snyter Pereira overlooked the entire proceedings.
