THEME AND LOGO

The theme chosen and the Logo designed for the Formative Year 2014-2015 is based on the theme and Logo of the Pastoral Year of our Archdiocese.

 The Theme is “From Family, through Seminary, To Society” (kuttumbant thaun, Siminarintlean, Somazak). The family is the cradle of faith where the vocation to ministerial priesthood is nurtured and grown. The Seminary accompanies the seminarian in the process of formation so that he has the right orientation and motivation towards priesthood. Finally, the seminarian is ordained a priest and sent into the world in order to proclaim and live the love of Christ as evangelizers and shepherds.

 The Logo: The Cross symbolizes the love of Christ which flows into the world (heart) and which St. Francis Xavier spread in his life (footsteps in the form of S.F.X.). In this love of Christ, a family is born and nourished (house with three persons), and where the seeds of vocation are sown. The Rachol Seminary helps the candidate to priesthood to discern, strengthen and grow in his vocation, till he is ordained and sent into the world. The symbol of the heart envelopes everything signifies that the love of Christ continues to spread its radiance (rainbow coloured waves) on the world, Seminary and Society.
